The Controller shall, for all purposes relating to the registration and publication
of marks, apply the Nice Agreement of 1957 as subsequently revised, establishing the
International Classification of Goods and Services for the purposes of the Registration of
Marks.

(1)
An application for the registration of a mark shall be made in the form specified
in the Fourteenth Schedule and shall be accompanied by the appropriate fee
specified in the First Schedule.
(2)
An application may be made for the registration of a mark in respect of -
(a)
goods;
(b)
services; or
(c)
goods and services;
in one or more classes of the International Classification.

(1)
The reproduction of the mark shall be made in the space provided in the form
referred in regulation 43(1).
(2)
Each application for the registration of a mark shall be accompanied by 3
additional reproductions of the mark.
(3)
The reproduction of the mark on the application form and the additional
reproductions shall be identical.
(4)
The additional reproductions shall in all cases be noted with all such particulars
as may be required by the Controller and such particulars shall, if required, be
signed by the applicant or his authorised agent.
