(2) For the purposes of this section, "attempt" shall have the
meaning ascribed to it under the Penal Code.

PART III
JURISDICTION

25. (1) The courts in the Kingdom of Lesotho shall have jurisdiction
to try any offence under this Act or any regulations made under
it where an act or omission constituting an offence under this Act has
been committed wholly or in part –

Jurisdiction

(a) within the territory of the Kingdom of Lesotho;
or
(b) on a ship or aircraft registered in the Kingdom of
Lesotho; or
(c) by a national of the Kingdom of Lesotho outside
the jurisdiction of any country; or
(d) by a national of the Kingdom of Lesotho outside
the territory of the Kingdom of Lesotho, if the
person’s conduct would also constitute an offence under
a law of the country where the offence was committed.
(e) by a person, irrespective of the nationality or

citizenship of the person,
(1) when the offense is committed within the
territory of the Kingdom of Lesotho; or
(2) using equipment, software, or data located within
Kingdom of Lesotho, regardless of the location of
the person; or
(3) directed against equipment, software, or data
located in Kingdom of Lesotho regardless of the
location of the person.

Extradition

26.

Any offence under the provisions of this Act shall be considered to be
an extraditable crime for which extradition may be granted or
obtained under the [extradition Act].
