" musical work"
includes
any
musical
irrespective of
its musical quality and
composed for musical accompaniment;
work,
words
·owner" or owner of copyright means the person to
whom the copyright in a work belongs and includes the
heir of an author or an assignee in whole or in part of a
copyright and where -
(a) the economic right is vested in the author,
it is the author;
(b) the
economic
right
is
originally
vested in an individual, other than the
author or in a legal entity, it is that person
or entity; or
(c) the ownership of the economic right has
been transferred to an individual o r legal
entity, it is that person or entity;
"performance" mea ns the presentation of a work by
action, including dancing, playing, reciting, singing,
delivering, decla iming or projecting, to listeners 01
-spectators;
·performer" means an actor, a dancer, declaimer,
musician, singer or any other person who performs a
literary or artistic work and includes the conductor 01
director of a performance of the artistic or literary work;
