the Indust!rial Property Orner, 1989, I,

Affairs, make the following regulations:

1. These regulatlions may b.e cited as the Indust.:nial property
Regulations 1989 and shall rome into operation on a date tx> be
appointed by the Min:ister by notIice in the Ga2Je!tte.
2. There shall be payable in respect of the matters specifi.
~ied in oolumn 1 <Jf the First Schedul£ the fees respectively sped·
fie<! in column 2 of the First Schedu.Le.
3. (1) The forms set out in the SecO'lUi Schedu.Le shan be ap
plied for the matters set out in the Second Schedule.
(2) Copies otE the printed forms shall be furnished by the
Registrar on payment of 'the prescribed fe(!.
4. Applications under the Order and these regu1atJions shall
be in the English language and any document forming part of an
applica:tion or submitted to the Registrar pursuant to the Oroer
or to these regulations which ils in a language other than Eng1i.s:h
shall be accompanied by a certified English trans.La ti on.
5. (1) Names of natural persons shall be :indicarted by the

be indicated by th€lir full, official designa;tions.
(2) Addresses shall be indicated in such a way as to satisfy
the customary :requirements fm prompt I>ostal delivery at the
indicated address and, in any case, shall ,~~msist of all the rele
vant adminiscraJtive units, including the house number, if any;
addresses shall 31'S;() indicate telegraphic and telex addresses, if
any, and telephone numbers.
(3) Nationalitv shall be indicated bv the name of the State
at which a person "is a national; legal eli.tities shall indicate the
name of the State under whose laws they are constituted and
their registered office.
(4) Res.idence shall be indicated by the name of the State m
which a person is a resident.
6. (1) A document purporting to be signed for or on behali
of a partnership shall contain the names of all the partners in
full and shall be signed by all the partners ar by any partner
q~alified to sign, stating that he signs on behalf of the partner
S-hlP, or by any other person who satisfies the Registrar that he
is 2uthorj:::~d to sign the document.
