copyrights so as to give effect to the provisions of the World
Trade Organisation'sAgreement on Trade-RelatedAspects of
Intellectual Property Rights, 1994 and to repeal and replace the
Copyright Act and for matters connected therewith or
incidental thereto.
AN ACT
ENACTED
by the President and the National Assembly.
PART I
PRELIMINARY
1.
This Act may be cited as the Copyright Act, 2014
and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may,
by Notice published in the Gazette, appoint.
