matters as the Data Commissioner may deem fit;
and
(f) any other expenditure for the purposes of this Act.
(3) The annual estimates shall be submitted to the
Cabinet Secretary for tabling in the National Assembly.
69. The annual accounts of the Office shall be
prepared, audited and reported in accordance with the
provisions of Articles 226 and 229 of the Constitution, the
Public Finance Management Act, 2012, or any other law
relating to audit of public entities.

70. (1) The Data Commissioner shall, within three
months after the end of each financial year, prepare and
submit to the Cabinet Secretary a report of the operations of
the Office for the immediately preceding year.
(2) The Cabinet Secretary shall submit the annual
report before the National Assembly within three months of
receipt of the report under subsection (1).
(3) The annual report shall contain in respect of the
year to which it relates—
(a) the financial statements and description of
activities of the Office;
(b) such other statistical information as the Data
Commissioner may consider appropriate relating
to the Data Commissioner’s functions;
(c) the impact of the exercise of any of Data
Commissioner’s mandate or function;
(d) any impediments to the achievements of the object
and purpose of this Act or any written law; and
(e) any other information relating to its functions that
the Data Commissioner may consider necessary.
PART X—PROVISIONS ON DELEGATED POWERS

Annual reports.

71. The Cabinet Secretary may, make regulations
generally for giving effect to this Act, and for prescribing
anything required or necessary to be prescribed by or under
this Act.

(1), regulations made under that subsection may provide
