(ix)
advertising
and
sponsorships;
(x)
protection of children;
and
(xi)
community
broadcasting.
(b) from time to time, as it deems
necessary,
make
recommendations
to
the
Minister and the Authority, as
the case may be regarding:
(i)
the
amendment
or
revocation
of
regulations or rules
made by the Minister or
the Authority pursuant
to
recommendations
made by the Committee
in terms of paragraph
(a) of this sub-section;
(ii)
the introduction of such
new regulations or rules
relating to matters listed
in paragraph (a) of this
sub-section
(1)
or
relating
to
matters
reasonably incidental to
the matters so listed.
(2) The power of the Minister in
terms of section 33 of this Act to give
directions to the Committee shall not apply
to the formulation of recommendations
under sub-section (1).
