Ipaki y’itabi n’ibirikomokaho itariho inyandiko
ziburira nk’uko biteganywa n’iri tegeko, irafatirwa
burundu, uruganda cyangwa umuntu wagerageje
kubyinjiza mu gihugu, ahanishwa ihazabu yo mu
rwego rw’ubutegetsi ingana na 50% by’agaciro
k’ibicuruzwa yambuwe burundu.
A package of tobacco and tobacco products which
does not bear warning imprints as provided for
under this Law shall be confiscated, and the factory
or the person who attempts to bring the products in
the country shall be liable to an administrative fine
equal to 50% of the value of goods definitively
confiscated.
Un paquet du tabac et des produits du tabac qui
ne portent pas la notice d’avertissement prévue
par la présente loi sont définitivement confisqués,
et l’usine ou la personne qui a tenté de les
introduire au pays, est passible d’une amende
administrative équivalent à 50% de la valeur des
marchandises définitivement confisquées.

“ Ricuruzwa mu Rwanda/Sold in Rwanda/Vendu
au Rwanda” nk’uko biteganywa n’iri tegeko,
ahanishwa igihano cyo kwamburwa ibyo
bicuruzwa n’ihazabu yo mu rwego rw’ubutegetsi
ingana na 100% by’agaciro k’ibicuruzwa
byafatiriwe burundu.
Any person who imports tobacco and tobacco
products and sells them in Rwanda without a stamp
and imprints written in languages recognised in
Rwanda “Ricuruzwa mu Rwanda/sold in Rwanda/
Vendu au Rwanda” as provided for under this Law,
shall have such goods confiscated and be liable upon
conviction to an administrative fine equal to 100%
of the value of goods definitively confiscated.
Toute personne qui importe le tabac et les
produits du tabac et les vend au Rwanda sans
vignette et mention écrite en langues reconnues
au Rwanda “Ricuruzwa mu Rwanda/Sold in
Rwanda/ Vendu au Rwanda” voit ces produits
confisqués et est passible d’une amende
administrative équivalente à 100% de la valeur
des marchandises définitivement confisquées.
