(3) Notwithstanding the repeal of Title 24 (Patent Trade Marks and Section
2.44 (11) of the Act adopting a new Copyright Law of Liberia of August 19CJ:i
patents granted and trademarks registered thereunder shall remain in force but
shall, subiect to subsection (4) and (5), be deemed to have been registered
under this Act
(4) Patents granted shall remain in force for the expired portion of the
period of protection provided under this Act. subject to the payment of annual
maintenance fees provided for in this Act
