Acceptance of certificate
(1)
A subscriber shall be deemed to have accepted a certificate where he (a)

to any other person; or
(ii)
in a repository; or
otherwise demonstrates approval of the certificate while knowing or having,
notice of its contents.
A subscriber referred to in a certificate shall, by accepting a certificate, certify to any
person who may rely on the information contained in the certificate that (a)
he rightfully holds the private key corresponding to the public key referred to
in the certificate;
(b)
every representation made by him to the certification authority which is
material to the information set out in the certificate are true; and
(c)
all information in the certificate that is within his knowledge is true.

publishes or authorises the publication of the certificate -
A subscriber identified in a certificate shall, on accepting a certificate (a)
exercise reasonable care to retain control of the private key corresponding
to the public key referred to in the certificate; and
(c)
prevent its disclosure to create his digital signature.
Subsection (1) shall continue to apply during (a)
the operational period of the certificate; and
(b)
any period of suspension of the certificate.
Initiating suspension or revocation
Where the private key corresponding to the public key referred to in a certificate has been
compromised or otherwise becomes unreliable, a subscriber who has accepted the
certificate shall forthwith request the relevant certification authority to suspend or revoke
the certificate.
