(c) the Permanent Secretary in the ministry for the time being
responsible for information and communications or his
representative;
(d) the Permanent Secretary in the ministry for the time being
responsible for finance or his representative;
(e) the Permanent Secretary in the ministry for the time being
responsible for internal security or his representative;
(f) at least seven other persons, not being public officers,
appointed by the Minister and of whom—
(i) at least one shall have knowledge or experience in
matters relating to law;
(ii) at least one shall have knowledge or experience in postal
services;
(iii) at least one shall have knowledge or experience in
matters relating to broadcasting;
(iv) at least one shall have knowledge or experience in
matters relating to radio communications;
(v) at least one shall have knowledge or experience in
matters relating to information technology or computer
science;
(vi) at least one shall have knowledge or experience in
matters relating to telecommunications; and
(vii) at least one shall have knowledge or experience in
consumer protection matters.

Powers of the Board.

(2) The Minister shall have due regard to registered societies
representing such matters in exercising his powers under this section.
	
7. The Board shall have all the powers necessary for the
performance of the functions of the Commission under this Act and in
particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the
Board shall have power to—
(a) manage, control and administer the assets of the Commission
in such manner and for such purposes as best promote the
