(c) the removal or alteration of any electronic
information without authority;
(d) the distribution, import for distribution,
broadcasting, communication to the public or
making available to the public, without
authority, of works, performances, sound
recordings or broadcasts, knowing or having
reason to know that electronic information has
been removed or altered without authority.
(2) In the application of sections 50 to 52, an unlawful
device and means mentioned in section ( 1 ) and a copy
from which rights management information has been
removed or altered, shall be assimilated to infringing
copies of works, and an unlawful act referred to in
subsection ( 1 ) shall be treated as an infringement of
copyright or related rights to which the civil remedies
and criminal sanctions provided for in sections 50 to 52
are applicable.

55. ( 1 ) A person who sells, offers or exposes for sale or
distribution in The Gambia copies of
(a) expression of folklore made in or outside The
GalIlUict;
(b) a translation, an adaptation, arrangement or
expression of folkiore made outside The Gambia
without the permission in writing of the Centre;
(c) wilfully
