the goods shows cause to the contrary, declare such goods to be
forfeited.

Any goods declared to be forfeited under this section shall, without
compensation, vest in the Government and may, by direction of the
Minister of Finance, be sold or destroyed or appropriated to the
Government.

MERCHANDISE MARKS (SECTION 8 SUSPENSION) NOTICE
under s. 8(2)

This notice may be cited as the Merchandise Marks (Section 8 Suspension)
Notice.

Citation

The operation of section 8(1) of the Act is suspended in relation to the
following good:­

Goods.

(a)	

is produced by dairy heard in which each and every animal
clearly shows the characteristics of the Jersey or Guernsey
breed of dairy cattle with a complete absence of any other
breed characteristic; and

(b) 	

contains a minimum of 13 per centum total milk solids and a
minimum of 4.25 per centum milk fat,

to which thee is applied the following offending mark:Channel Island

The operation of section 8(1) of the Act is suspended in relation to the
following classes of goods:­
(a)	

“Innoxa” toilet preparations, including liquid perfumery,
powders, washes, pomatums, cosmetics, pastes, dyes and
hair oil, but including tooth powders, tooth pastes and tooth
washes;

(b)	

“Innoxa” performes containing more than 2 per centum of
alcohol by volume at a temperature of 51 degrees Fahrenheit.
