(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 55 of this Act and subsection (1)
of this section, a person who is subject to this Act and who fails to disclose or omits to
give any relevant information or evidence or document, or provides information or
evidence or document that he knows or has reason to believe is false or misleading, in
response to a direction issued by the Commission commits an offence and on conviction
is liable to a fine not exceeding N100,000.00 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding
1 year or to both such fine and imprisonment.
66.—(1) A person who is subject to this Act shall, if at any time called upon
in writing by the Commission to do so, produce to the Commission all such
evidence and provide all such information as the person may have relating to his
compliance with any of the provisions of this Act or its subsidiary legislation, as
the Commission may generally, or in relation to any particular case, require.

(2) The Commission may take, and retain for as long as is necessary,
possession of a document produced under this Chapter and the person otherwise
entitled to possession of the document is entitled to be supplied, as soon as
practicable, with a copy certified by the Commission to be a true copy.
(3) Notwithstanding the provisions of any other written law, all courts and
tribunals shall receive the certified copy as evidence as if it were the original.
(4) Until a certified copy is supplied, the Commission shall, at such times
and places as the Commission thinks appropriate, permit the person otherwise
entitled to possession of the document, or a person authorised by that person, to
inspect and make copies of, or take extracts from the document.
67.—(1) The Commission shall maintain a record of all information, evidence
or documents received pursuant to the directions given under section 64 (2) of this Act.
(2) The Commission may publish information received in the course of
exercising its powers and functions under this Chapter if it is satisfied, that the
publication is consistent with the objects of this Act Provided that the Commission
shall consider the commercial interests of the parties to whom the information relates
before publishing the information.

PART V—REGISTER
68.—(1) The Commission shall maintain a register, in both physical form
and electronic media, of all matters that are required to be registered under this
Act and its subsidiary legislation.

(2) The Commission may, at its discretion, summarise the contents of a
material for inclusion in the register and exclude therefrom aspects of the material
if it considers such exclusion necessary and justified on grounds of public interest
or safety, amongst others.
69.—(1) A person may, on payment of the charge, if any, to be decided by
the Commission ;
(a) inspect the register ; and
