The Private Sector Federation representing the
private sector, would need to have the
required expertise in ICT policy issues to be
able to among other things: effectively dialog
with Government and contribute to ICT policy
and plan formulation and implementation;
assist its members on issues relating to their
participation in the information and
knowledge economy and play an effective
advocacy role on behalf of its members to
project and strengthen the role of the private
sector as a key ICT-led socio-economic
development stakeholder.
This Initiative to develop an in-house ICT
Policy Team within the Private Sector
Federation is aimed at providing the
Federation the necessary capacity to facilitate
the role of the private sector in the
development and participation in the Rwandan
information society
