02. eKvKYM×’< ª“ ÇÃ_¡}`

1/ The Board shall meet once every month;
provided, however, that it may convene
at any time when called by the
chairperson.
2/ There shall be a quorum where more
than half of the members are present at a
meeting of the Board.
3/ Decisions of the Board shall be passed
by majority votes; in case of a tie, the
chairperson shall have a casting vote.
4/ Without prejudice to the provisions of this
Article, the board may adopt its own rules
of procedure.

1/ The Director General of the Authority
shall be appointed by the Government
upon recommendation by the Minister.
2/ The Director General shall be the chief
executive of the Authority and, subject to
the general directives of the Board, shall
direct and administer the activities of the
Authority.
3/ Without limiting the generality of the
provisions of sub-article (2) of this Article,
the Director General shall:

a) exercise the powers and duties of the
Authority stated under Article 7 of this

the Authority in accordance with
directives to be approved by the
Government following the basic
principles of the federal civil service

work program and budget of the
Authority, and implement same when
approved by the appropriate organ;
d) effect expenditure in accordance with
the work program and budget of the
Authority;
