(ii)
if, on the final determination the member's appeal or application,
his conviction is set aside, or he is granted a free pardon, or is declared
not to be of unsound mind or bankrupt or guilty of an offence prescribed
under clause (4) of Article 65, he shall be entitled to resume his
functions as a member of the National Assembly unless he has
previously resigned, and to receive remuneration as a member for the
period during which he did not exercise his functions by reason of the
provisions of paragraph (i) of this proviso.
72. (1) The High Court shall have power to hear and determine any
question whether-

(a)

any person has been validly elected or nominated as a member of
the National Assembly or the seat of any member has become
vacant;

(b)

any person has been validly elected as Speaker or Deputy
Speaker of the National Assembly or, having been so elected,
has vacated the office of Speaker or Deputy Speaker.

(2) An appeal from the determination of the High Court under this
Article shall lie to the Supreme Court:
Provided that an appeal shall lie to the Supreme Court from any
determination of the High Court on any question of law including the
interpretation of this Constitution.

73. There shall be a Clerk of the National Assembly and such other
offices in the department of the Clerk of the National Assembly as may National Assembly
be prescribed by an Act of Parliament.

74. The President may, at any time, terminate the appointment of any
nominated member appointed under Article 68 and appoint any other
person in that member's stead.

75. (1) Every citizen of Zambia who has attained the age of eighteen
