(b) a collective wo rk, the natural person or legal
entity at whose initiative and under whose
direction the work has been c reated shall be the
original owne r of the economic rights;
(c) a work created by 	 an author, employed by an
individual or a legal entity, in the course of his or
her employment, the employer shall , unless
provided otherwise in a contract, be the origina l
owner of the economic rights; and
(d) an 	audiovisual work the producer s hall, unless
provided otherwise in a contract, be the original
owner of the economic rig hts .

rights in their contributions o r pre-existing works,
respectively, tathe extent that those contributions or pre­

1 6. ( 1 ) T he owne r of copyright may transfer the
economic rights in section 9 to a thi rd pa rty either in
whole or in part but the transfer whether in whole or in
part shall not include the moral rig hts referred to in
section 10.

(2) 	A contract that requires the transfer of the rig hts
refe rred to in section 1 o s hall be limited in scope to the
useprovidetl for in the contract.
(3) Copyright may be transferred by assignment,
licence,testamentary disposition or operation of law.
