(a) the reproduction in any material form, the
communication to the public or the
broadcasting of the whole signal or a
substantial part of it, either in its original form
or in any form recognisably derived from the
original by way of fair deaUng for the. purpose
of scientific research, private use, criticism or
review or the reporting of current events;
(b) the broadcast of the signal if, the broadcast is
intended to be used for -purposes
systematic instructional activities;
of
(c) the reproduction of a broadcast and the use of
the reproduction in an educational institution
or for the systematic instructional activities in
any educational institution; or
(d) its use for the purpose of a judicial proceeding
or for any report of the proceeding.
Original
ownership of
economic
rlghts.
15. (1) Subject to the provisions of subsection (2), the
original owner of the economic rights is the author who
created the work.
'
(2) In the case of(a) a work of joint authorship, the co-authors shall
be the origin al owners of the economic rights but
if a work of joint authorship consists of parts that
can be used separately and the author of each
part can be identified, the author or each part
shall be the original owner of the economic
rights in the part that he or she has created;
