(a) abuse of office;
2009
(b) corruption;
(c) incompetence;
(d) any physical or mental incapacity that renders a person
incapable of performing the duties of that office;
(e) failure to attend three consecutive Board meetings without
reasonable grounds;
(f) conviction of an offence involving moral turpitude;
(g) being adjudged bankrupt by a court of law;
(h) any other reasonable ground.
(2) A member of the Board other than the Executive Director
may resign from the Board by giving notice in writing to the Board,
of not less than one month.
11. Functions of the Board.
The Board shall—
(a) formulate policy guidelines for the Authority;
(b) monitor the implementation of the plans and programmes of
the Authority;
(c) approve the annual budget and action plan of the Authority;
(d) appoint the staff of the Authority;
(e) determine the structure and staffing levels of the Authority
and the terms of service of the staff of the Authority;
(f) establish rules and procedures for—
