WHEREAS, broadcasting service plays a big role in the
political, economic and social development of the country by

1. Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the' 'Broadcasting
proclamation No. 178/1999."
2. Definitions
In this Proclamation, unless the context reqUires
otherwise:
I)
"Radio Wave" shall mean a radio wave assigned to
users for a specific ser",ice in accordance with the
radio regulations of Internationl Telecommunication
Union;
