THE ELECTRONIC AND POSTAL COMMUNICATIONS (LICENSING) REGULATIONS, 2011
PART I
PRELIMINARY PROVISIONS
Citation
1. These Regulations shall be cited as the Electronic
and Postal Communication (Licensing) Regulations, 2011.
Application
2.
These Regulations shall apply to the following
types of licences (a)
network facilities licences;
(b)
network services licences;
(c)
content services licences;
(d)
application services licences;
(e)
postal and courier services licences;
(f)
installation and maintenance of electronic
communication equipment;
(g)
importation of electronic communication
equipment;
(h)
distribution of electronic communication
equipment;
(i)
selling of electronic communication equipment;
(j)
V-SAT;
(k) other licences as may be determined by the
Authority; and
(l) the usage of scarce resources in relation to(i)
spectrum usage licence; and
(ii)
electronic communication numbering
and addresses.
