The Act would also have been amended by the Posts and Telecommunications
Companies Establishment Amendment Act 20 of 2000 (GG 2425). However, this
amending Act contains errors and was apparently never brought into force.
The amendments contained in it have not been incorporated here.
ACT
To provide for the incorporation of a postal company, a telecommunications company and
a holding company; to provide for the transfer of the postal enterprise to the postal
company and of the telecommunications enterprise to the telecommunications company;
to provide for the conditions of service of persons transferred to or employed by the postal
company or the telecommunications company; to provide for the control of the Post Office
Savings Bank by the postal company; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
