TRADITIONAL AUTHORITIES ACT, 2000
Construction of a certain expression
21. Any reference to the chief of a traditional community in any other
law shall be construed as to include a reference to the head of a traditional
community.
Short title and commencement
22. (1) This Act shall be called the Traditional Authorities Act, 2001,
and shall come into operation on a date to be determined by the Minister by
notice in the Gazette .
(2) Different dates may be determined under subsection (1) in respect
of different provisions of this Act.
