(b) any fees payable under this Act;(c) a portion of the fines paid to the
subordinate courts in matters of consumer protection;
(d) such other moneys and assets as may vest in or accrue to the Council in
the course of its functions; and
(e) such moneys or other assets as may accrue to or vest in, the Council by
way of grants, subsidies, bequests, donations, subscriptions, rents, interests or
royalties from any other person.

Reimbursement of

Annual reports

(2) The Council shall keep proper accounts and other records relating
thereto in respect of its funds and shall in every aspect comply with the
provisions of the Public Finance Management Act.
(3) The accounts of the Council shall be examined and audited annually
by auditors appointed by the Council.
23. The Council may make provision for the reimbursement of expenses any
reasonable expenses incurred by a member of the Council or of a committee
in connexion Wit the business of the council or the committee.
24.-(]) As soon as practicable; but not later than six (6) months after the
expiry of each financial year, the Council shall submit to the Minister a
report concerning its activities during that financial year.
(2) The report referred to in subsection (]) shall be in such form as the
Minister shall approve and shall include information on the financial affairs
of the Council, and shall be appended to the report
(a) an audited balance sheet;
(b) an audited statement of income and expenditure; and
(c) such other information as the Council .may consider appropriate or
as the Minister may direct...

Progress reports

(3) The Minister shall, after he receives the report referred to in subsection
(l), lay the report before the National Assembly and subsequently the report
shall be published.
25. The Council shall, at the end of every financial year, produce a progress
report on its activities during that period and shall publish the report.
