(b) the penalties for contraventions of the regulations:
Provided that no such penalty shall exceed a fine of level ten or imprisonment for a period
exceeding five years or both such fine and such imprisonment.

Guidelines
The Cybersecurity Committee may, with the approval of the Minister, issue such guidelines as
may be necessary for the carrying out of the provisions of this Act as it relates to its functions under
this Act.
45 Amendment of Cap. 9:23.
The Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act [Chapter 9:23] is amended—
(a) in section 162 by the repeal of the definitions of “computer virus”, “data”, “essential
service” and “owner”;
(b) by the repeal of sections 163 to 166.
