282 ASSISTANCE BY LAWYER OR OTHER EXPERT
(1)
Any person whose conduct is the subject of inquiry by a commission of inquiry, or who may, in any
way be implicated or concerned in the matter under inquiry, is entitled to be represented by a lawyer
at the inquiry; and any other person who may consider it desirable that he should be represented by a
lawyer shall be allowed to be so represented.
(2)
A person referred to in clause (1) of this article may also be assisted by such other expert as may be
reasonably necessary for the purpose of protecting his interests at the inquiry.
283 IMMUNITIES AND PRIVILEGES OF WITNESSES
A witness before a commission of inquiry is entitled to the same immunities and privileges as if he
were a witness before the High Court.
