32. Repeal and amendment of laws.–Subject to the provisions of sections 2 (8) (c) and (10) (c),
10 (5) (a), 11 (4) (b), 15 (2), 16 (6), 17 (5) and 20 (1) (b). the laws mentioned in the Schedule are hereby
repealed or amended to the extent indicated in the third column thereof.
33. Short title and commencement.–
(1) This Act shall be called the Liquor Products Act, 1989, and shall come into operation on a date
fixed by the State President by proclamation in the Gazette.
(2) Different dates may be fixed under subsection (1) in respect of different provisions of this Act.
